MRS TM WATKINS IS CLAIMED BY DEATH
BLAKELY, Pa Dec 19 -- Mrs Gwendolyn Watkins, widow of the late Thomas M Watkins, of Third street, died at her home about 6 oclock this morning of heart failure, following several days illness. She was a woman of endearing qualities, a faithful member of the Welsh Baptist church and also of the local council, Daughters of America.
She is survived by two daughters, Miss Annette, and Mrs James Buckingham, with whom she made her home.

DEATH OF EDWARD S JONES
Edward S Jones, an aged and repected resident of this side, died last evening at about 7 oclock at his residence on Hampton Street. Mr Jones was taken ill about 2 weeks ago, and his condition became rapidly worse. He was formerly employes in the Bellevue mines. Deceased was born in Glamorganshire, South Wales, and is 59 years of age. He came to this country in 1865, and has resided in theis section since that time. Mr Jones is connected with the Knights of Pythias Lodge of Taylor and the Bellevue Mine Accidental Fund. His wife died several years ago. Mr Jones is survived by 5 daughters and one son, namely
