The death of Elias J Smith 61, Newton, occured yesterday.
He is survived by his wife Carrie;
a daughter Mrs Elmer Thomas, this city;
3 sons: Elias Jr, this city, and Andrew and Daniel, at home;
a sister Mrs Bertha Ross, this city;
and a brother William Smith, Newton.
The funeral will be held at 2 oclock Monday afternoon from the home with the Rec Charles Dempsey, Newton ME Church, officiating. Interment will be in Newton Cemetery
