Mrs Ann G Jones, 94, of 1145 West Elm St, died this morning in WEst Side Hospital.
Born in Mountainish, South Wales*, she lived in this city 78 years. Her husband, John J Jones, died in 1931. Daughter of the late Richard and Mary Richards Griffiths, she was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are:
2 daughters, Miss Margaret Jones at home; and Mrs John E Evans, this city;
2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Monday at 11am from the Davies Funeral Home, 135 South Main Ave. The Rev Olin Race, Bethel Baptist Church, and the Rev Dr RJ Williams, retired Presbyterian minister, will officiate. Burial, Washburn Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow from 7-9pm and Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9pm.
*Could Mountainish be Mountain Ash, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Glamorgan?
