Marion Jones Evans Meador, Hemet CA, died 6 feb at home. She was the wife of Fred Meador. Her 1st husband, the late John “Zeda” Evans, was formerly of Taylor.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late John and Ann Griffith Jones, she graduated from Scranton Central High School. She was employed at Lewis&Reilly Shoes prior to moving to Syracuse NY with her late husband. Upon his death she moved to CA and was married to Mr Meador.
Also surviving are 2 nieces, Audrey Walters, Clarks Summit, and Evelyn Sly, Lancaster.
SHe was preceded in death by a sister Margaret and a brother Alvin.
The funeral was held from the Miller Jones Mortuary Funeral Home, Hemet. Interment Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside CA
