“On Dec 11 She Passed Away in Beirut, Syria
“Advices have been recieved lere of the death of Mrs Samuel Jessup in Beirut Syria Dec 11. Her husband is Rev Dr Samuel Jessup a brother of William H and George A Jessup of this city; HUnting C Jessup of mOntrose, and Rev Dr Henry Jessup who for many years has been and is now one of those in charge of the Presbyterian missionary stations in Arabia and Armenia.
“Mrs Jessup was a sister of Mrs William H Jessup and of Douglas H and Hixon Jay of this city.”
