“DEATH IN LITHGOW
“An old resident of Lithgow, in the person of Mrs Elijah Davis, of Hermitage Flat, passed away yesterday morning,. She had been ailing for about 4 months, the illness being a general break-up. She was 66 years of age, and had been married 44 years. Eleven children were the issue of the marriage. SHe was a native of Minstley, SAlop, England, and had been in this state 14 years. The funeral took place today, the interment being made in the PM portion of the new cemetery. The Rev FJ Branch was to have officiated.”
