Former Resident Dies
Mrs Elizabeth Buckingham, formerly of this town died on Wednesday at her home in Blakely, PA following a lingering illness of complications. The deceased was born in Carnarvon Wales 70 years ago, and having come to this countru at an early age, resided in Naticoke for many years where she enjoyed the acquaintence of a large circle of friends.
She is survived by the following children:
James of Blakely;
Ellis of Scranton;
John of Johnson City;

BLAKELY WOMAN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
BLAKELY, Pa Nov 14 — Mrs Elizabeth Buckingham, a well known and highly respected resident of the town, died at her home on 3rd Street this morning at 830 o’clock after a lingering illness. Mars Buckingham was born in Carnarvon, North Wales, 70 years ago but came to the country some 40 years ago and settled in Nanticoke, later coming to Blakely, where she resided for 30 years. She was a member of the Welsh CM church and of societies connected with the church.
She is survived bt 5 sons:
James of Blakely
Ellis of Scranton
John of Johnson City, and
Harry and William of Detroit;
also 3 daughters:
Mrs George Weisner of Detroit,
Mrs Arthur Pettigrew and Mrs Earl Kline of this place
The funeral will be held from the family home on 3rd Street Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment will be in Union Cemetery
