Caroline Smith, of North Scranton died Friday at home
Born i Scranton, daughter of the late Thomas E and Beatrice Ware Smith, she was a lifelong resident of Scranton. Prior to retirement she worked for Franklin’s Restaurant. She was a member of the Providence Full Gospel Tabernacle, she was active in many church activities and especially enjoyed singing to the homebound.
Surviving are 3 sisters:
Nancy Ratchford, Scranton;
Lillian Woempner, Caspian Mich;
and Emily DeRosier, Philadelphia;
numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
SHe was preceeded in death by 2 brothers:Thomas Smith and Ron DeRosier,
and a sister Sally Kelly.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 930am from the Bomberger-Lesko Funeral Home, 1660 N Main Ave, with services at 10 am in Providence Full Gospel Tabernacle by the Rev Robert Walls. Interment FAirview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
