In the name of God Amen
I Sarah Score of the County of the City of Exon spinster
being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament in manner following:

Ffirst and principally I resign my soul in the hands of almighty God my creator by whose Wrarys?? and in and through the meritorious death and passion of my savior Jesus Christ I hope and trust to receive pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and to inherit everlasting Life and my body I commit to the Earth to be derently? interred at the discretion of my executrix hereinafter named and as for tourhing? and concerning my worldly estate I give and dispose thereof as follows:

Imprimis I give unto my dear sister Katherine Somerton and my nephew Edward Score of the city of Exon Bookseller, the sum of 200 pounds upon the trusts and for the several ends and purposes hereinafter mentioned (that is to say) upon trust that my said trustees and the survivor of them and his or her executors administrators or assigns do and shall from time to time at and all times during the natural life of my sister Cawley lend place and keep the said 200 pounds out at interest either on souir? real sercurity or securitys or in the publick funds or government securitys and at and for such interest produce and dividends thereof to pay for and towards the maintenance of my said sister Cawley 2 shillings weekly and every week for so long time as she shall happen to live and the overplus and residue of such interest I will and direct to be laid out and bestowed from time to time for the support and maintenance of my said sister Cawley in such manner as my said sister Somerton shall during her lifetime think fit to dispose of or imploy the same
But in case my said sister Somerton shall die in the lifetime of my said sister Cawley, then and in such manner as the said Edward Score his executors administrators or assigns

shall at his or their discretion think fit and from and after the death of my said sister Cawley, then in case my said sister Somerton shall happen to survive her I Will and direct that she my said sister Somerton do and shall from thenceforth receive and retain the interest produce and dividends of the said sun 200 pounds to her own use for so long time as she shall then after happen to live and from and after the death of the survivor of them my said sisters Mary Crawley and Katherine Somerton, then upon trust that the said Edward Score his executors or administrators do and shall distribute and divide the sum of 100 pounds being out Moicty? of the said principal sum of 200 pounds unto and amongst my said sister sister Cawley’s 5 children, Jemima, Mary, John, William and Sarah share and share alike,
and in case any or either of them shall happen to die in the lifetime of my said surviving sister that then the share or part of such of them so dying shall survive and go to the survivors or survivor of them and in case they shall all ffist? happen to die in the lifetime of my said surviving sister, then I will and direct that the said sum of 100 pounds shall be paid and equally divided unto and amongst the surviving grandchildren of my said sister Cawley for his her or their own use and benefit,

and as for and concerning the sum of 100 pounds residue of the said sum of 200 pounds upon trust that the said Edward Score his executors administrators or assigns so upon such the death of my said surviving sister pay the same to Sarah Gandy, eldest daughter of my niece Gandy in case she shall be living at the time of the death of my said surviving sister and hath attained her age of 21 years if under that age then to be continued at interest till she has attained such her age of 21 years and then to pay over to the said Sarah Gandy the said principal sum of 100 pounds with the interest thereof from the time of the death of my said surviving sister (if any) but if the said Sarah Gandy shall happen to die in the lifetime of my surviving sister or under the age of 21 years, then I will and direct that the said last mentioned sum of 100 pounds shall be paid to the eldest child of my said niece Gandy that shall be living at the time of the death of my surviving sister whether a son or a daughter if such child has attained the age of 21 years, if under that age then to be continued at interest till such son of daughter has attained the age of 21 years and then to pay him or her the said principal sum of 100 pounds with the interest due thereon from the time of the death of my said surviving sister
but I request and desire that my said sister Somerton will take upon her the sole management and direction of the

said trust and of my said sister Cowley during her life and afterwards if she shall happen to die in the lifetime of my said sister Cawley, I request and desire my cousin Elizabeth Tremlett to take care of my said sister Cawley during her life and to see the interest of the said 200 pounds intended for her support applied in such manner as she will knows I myself have and do now take of her.

FFurther I do hereby will and declare that in case I shall leave any memorandum in writing under my hand giving any small pecuniary legacys or making any disposition of my watch rings or other things, that the same shall go and be paid in like manner as if the same had been marked in the body of this my will and all the rest and residue of my goods chattels ready moneys and securitys personal and testomentary estate whatsoever, me debts legacys and ffuneral expenses being first discharges, I give and bequeath unto my said sister Somerton whom I make sole executrix of this my will all written with my own hand, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal and declare this to be my last will and testament this 7th day of february 1759
signed sealed published and declared by the said Sarah Score as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who have severally subscribed our names as witnesses thereto in her presence and in the presence of each other Mary Bath Edward Keen

A particular of the several legacies to be added to my will
I give to my niece Jemima Cowley my gold chain and locket
To her sister Mary my gold beads and locket
To her sister Sarah 3 silver spoons and a mourning ring made for my mother.
To my nephew John Gandy my watch
To my niece Elizabeth Tremlett 5 guineas
I desire my sister Somerton will by her last will give 10 pounds to each of the children of my nephew John Cowley to be employed in binding them to an apprenticeship or otherwise as she shall judge most fit and convenient.
I give all my cloaks and wearing apparel to my sister Cowley and her 3 daughters to be divided amongst them in such manner and proportion as my sister Somerton shall think proper.
