In the Name of God Amen
I Richard Score Collector of the Port of Exon being weak of body but of sound and disposing mind and understanding praised be God for the same, I make this my last will and testament in manner following
Imprimis I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth to be buryed according to the discetion of my executors hereinafter named
Item I give unto my daughter Hannah the wife of Thomas Tremblett all that my Mesfuaces? or Tenement or Dwelling house with the apportenances situate in Barnstaple in the County of Devon which I hold by lease from Sr John Loll deceased, and all my estate right Title and Interest I have of in and to the same to have and to hold the same for and during the term of 70 years if she shall so long live
Item I give and devise to my said daughter Hannah all that my Garden plott lying in the Town of Barnstaple in Castle Lane some time the Lands of Adam Lugg to have and to hold the same for term of 4 score and 19 years if she happen so long to live and after her death I give the ffee? simple thereof to my sons, Richard and John and their heirs forever.
Item I give and devise unto my son Richard Score and his heirs and assigns forever the ffee? simple and inheritance of all those my those Mesfuages? or Tenements with the appurtenances situate in Bydeford in the County of Devon which I purchased of one Jacob Westcombe the said Richard Score yielding and paying within 6 months next after my decease the sum of 50 pounds lawfull money of England to my son Charles Score
Item I give and devise to my daughter Elizabeth Score the sum of 100 pounds lawfull money of England to be paid within 6 months next after my decease or day of marriage which shall first happen
I give unto my son Edward Score all my Dem paper I have now by me in my house And doe arguitt and release him of all demands I have against him
Item I give and devise unto my son John Score all the estate right and interest I have in the Mefsuage or Dwelling house with the appurtenances situate in Southgate street which I hold in Lease from the Martins But since sold to Tho: Elliot
Item I give and devise to my daughter Mary the sum of 50 pounds to be paid her within 6 months next after my death
Item I give and devise to my said son William the sum of 50 poundsto be paid him within a 12 months next after my death

have in the house against the Town Walls now in possession of one Darts and which I hold lease from Master Dawson
Item I give to my daughter Katherine the sum of 50 pounds to be paid her in 12 months next after my death
Item I give to my daughter Sarah the sum og 50 punds to be paid her within twelve month next after my death
Item I give to my daughter Hannah Tremblett the sum of 20 pounds lawfull money of England to be pain in 6 months next after my decease
Item my will is that all my household goods and books and plate be distributed unto and amongst all my children by my executors hereinafter named in such equall proportions as he can best divide the same
And I doe of this my said will make my sons Richard and John my whole and sole executors
And my will is that after all my debts paid there shall not be sufficient assettss to pay all my legacies herein before given that then and in such case all my such legacies and devises as well in respect to the lands as to the pecuniary legacies before given shall in proporron to their respective legacies equally abate and make a discount for the same
And in case there shall be more assetts that shall come to the hands of my executors than will pay all my legacies herein before given and debts Then my will is that such surplus of my Testamentary estate shall be equally divided into and amongst all my children
