82, great-grandmother
FREDERICK Md—Bess Edith Kemeny passed away on Tuesday Sep 25, 2007, at Homewood Nursing Home in Frederick Md. She was 82.
She was born in Johnson City NY to Lillian (Simms) and John Buckingham. A graduate of Dover High School, Mrs Kemeny lived in Sparta from 1974-2003; in Hackettstown from 2003-2006; and then in Frederick Md from 2006 until her death.
She was employed for 15 years at Picatinny Arsenal. She was a member of the Mount Olive Community Bible Church and while in Maryland, she was affiliated with the Good News Presbyterian Church in Frederick.
Mrs Kemeny was predeceased by her husband, William A Kemeny, in 1994 and by 6 siblings:

Jack Buckingham.
Mrs Kemeny was the mother of Peter Kemeny and his wife, Becky of Frederick Md;
Paul Kemeny and his wife Betsey of Grove City Pa; and
Bill Kemeny and his wife Jennifer of Newton.
She leaves behind 8 cherished grandchildren and 2 gret-grandchildren.
The funeral will be on Saturday Sep 29 at 11 am, with visitation one hour preceding at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta. The Rev Neil Lines of Mt Olive Community Bible Church will officiate
Interment will follow at SParta Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mount Olive Community Bible Church PO Box 447 Flanders, NJ 07836.
