JACOB JENKINS DIES AT ELIZABETH NJ
Jacob Jenkins of Cliff Street, Olyphant, one of the well known and highly esteemed residents of the Mid-Valley, died yesterday at the home of his daughter Mrs Vincent Henry, of Elizabeth, NJ following a 10 days illness of Pneumonia. The body will be taken to Olyphant today.
Mr Jenkins was born in Wales and came to this country 36 years ago. He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters, and 2 sons: Mrs Richard Vail of Kingston; Mrs Vincent Henry of Elizabeth NJ; Mrs Jessie Lewis, David and Richard Jenkins all of Olyphant.

OLYPHANT NOTES
The funeral of Jacob Jenkins who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs Vincent Henry at Elizabeth NJ on Tuesday, will be held from the family home on Church Street Friday afternoon at 2:30 oclock. Burial will be made in the Peckville Cemetary.

OLYPHANT
Olyphant Dec 27 - The funeral of Jacob Jenkins was held from the family home on Church street this afternoon and was attended by many relatives and friends.
The services were conducted by Rev Richard Powell of Rendhem
During the service Prof Lewis rendered a beautiful hymn in Welsh and “Abide with me” in English. Burial was made in the Union Cemetary, The pallbearers were Tomas Stock of Plymouth; John McCormick, Charles Thomas, William Belsh, John Elliot and David Lewis. Charles Jenkins was flower bearer.
