Following an illness of a few weeks dura tion, George W Cook aged 87 passed away at the residence in Wampum Monmorning at 420 oclock
Mr Cook who had resided in Wampum for thre past 64 years….
He was born 15 SEp 1853 in Sewickley township, Beaver County, son of Rubin and Ann Williams Cook, and lived in that vicinity until he was 13 years of age when he went to Blue Creek, WVa. Mr Cook went to New Brighton in 1876 and early the following year 1877 went to Wampum. He was preceded in death by his wife on 19 nov 1938.
Surviving are the following children:

William Cook,
Lillian Burton, all of Wampum, RD;
Harvey of Ellwood City;
Edward of Vanport;
and Mrs Zelma Major of Beaver Falls.
