Ann Bray May, 619 Peterson Lane, Lakeway, TX, dies May 14 after an illness. She and her husband Robert P May had celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in March.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Charles W and Elizabeth James Bray, she was a 1944 graduate of Central High SChool and while residing here she was a member of Bethania Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are 5 sons: Robert, Penn Del; and Richard, Edward, Gary, and Jeffrey, all of Texas;
4 sisters:
Dorothy Zehner, Dickson City;
Charlene Lance, Scranton;
Marilyn Bunell, Factoryville;
and Ardith Bulmahn, Cheektowaga NY

a brother Jimmy, Meshoppen;
6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at the family’s farm in Meshoppen. A graveside service will also be held in Scranton at a time to be announced.

Dorothy Bray Zehener, 80, of Auburn Township, died Tuesday in Dickson City at the home of her daughter Claudia Zehner and her partner Debbie Sears.
Born 3 aug 1927 in Scranton, daughter of the late Charles W and Elizabeth James Bray, she was a graduate of West Scranton High School. She was married for 40 years to the late William J Zehener, and they were charter members of Our Saviot Lutheran Church, Endwell, NY. Before marriage she worked as a model and as an in-home pediatric aide for new mothers.
Her loving generous nature was a pleasure to be around. Her greatest joy lay in gathering her family and breaking bread together. She enjoyed the house Bill built for the family and was a meticulous housekeeper and creative cook and baker. She loved her dogs and watching the wild birds. She was a lifelong Penn State fan and for many years was a cheerful and loud Elk Lake Warriors booster.
Surviving are:
a son, Dr Willaim John Zehner and wife Susan, Clay NY;
2 daughters: Claudia, Dickson City; nad Linda Huttemann and husband Robert, Glassboro NJ;
a daughter-in-law, Deidre Zehner, Syracuse NY;
3 sisters: Charlene Lance and husband Jack, Scranton; Marilyn Bunnell, Meshoppen; and Ardit Bulhman and husband Don, Cheektowoga NY;
brothers and sisters-in-law Clyde & Betty Zehner, Sugarloaf; Barbara Bray, Momtrose; Doris Bray, Factoryville; Robert May, Austin TX and Dick Hall, Laceyville;
7 grandchildren: Richard Earl, Rachel van der Wel and husband Robrecht; Sean Zehner and wife Megan; Olivia and Jacqueline Zehner; and Eric & Ryan Hutteman;
2 great-grandchildren: Julia & Claire Zehner;
several nieces nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, David William;
7 brothers & sisters: Elizabeth & Charles Bray who were infants; Richard, William & James Bray, Carol Hall & Ann May.
Friends may call on Saturday 11am-1pm at the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Ave, Olyphant. A celebration of life ceremony will begin at 1 with the Rev Lester Stephenson of St Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Scranton, officiating.
