Lysid Reese Williams, 90, Harrisburg, died Thirsday at home. She was the widow of Thomas H Williams who died on 22 dec 1996
Educated in Scranton schools, she was a graduate of Bloomsburg State Teachers College. She was an elementary teacher for many years in the Scranton and Harrisburg districts. She was a member of Progress Emmanuel Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a niece, Jeanette Barnes, with whom she resided, and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters:
Janet Bowen
Leah Whitenight and
Ruth Stangline.
A memorial service for Thomas and Lysid will be heal today at noon from the Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements by Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Lower Paxton Township.
