FUNERAL SERVICES FOR WP LONERGAN MONDAY
Member Well Known County Family Died At Renfroe
Funeral services were held at the Renfroe Methodist Church Monday Afternoon for WC Lonergan of Panama City, Fla, who died Sunday at the home of his brother-in-law WB Dupree at Renfroe.
Mr Lonergan was born at Lincoln 7 feb 1873, and spent his early life there.
In 1894 he married Miss Maggie Deupree of Renfroe
During the latter years of his active life, he was engaged in the lumber business in Louisiana and during the World War was purchasing agent for a shipbuilding concern at Pensacola, Fla.
Rev JW Dowdle conductd the funeral with interement following at Hepzibah Cemetery.
Mr Lonergan is survived by his widow and 5 brothers: Connie & Frank Lonergan of Lincoln; Bert of Tampa; Spurgeon of Shreveport, and Charles of Mississippi.
Pallbearers were his nephews BL Deupree, WT Deupree, Arthur D Jones and Ed Hodges.
