Arthur Lark, 66, Electrician, Dies
Arthur Lark, 66 of 607 Hallstead St, Dickson City, and electrician contractor, died yesterday in Mid-Valley Hospital after and illness.
Born in Dickson City, son of the late John and Emily Barnes Lark, he was employed by Hudson Coal Co as an electrician and operated an electrical contracting business in the MId-Valley for 40 years.
Mr Lark was a member of Dickson City Primitive Methodist Church and was the oldest member of Eagle Hose Co 1, Dickson City. He was also a member of Kingsbury Lodge 466, Free and Accepted Masons, Olyphant.
Surviving are his wife, the former Valeda Thomas of Blakely,
a son, Jack, Dickson City;
3 daughters: Mrs Richard Mellow, Dickson City; Mrs Melvin Smith, Mill City; and Mrs Joseph Kronko, Clak’s Summit;
a sister, Mrs Bert Barrow, Wyandotte, Mich;
17 grandchildren and a nephew.
The funeral will be Monday at 2pm from the Eynon Funeral Home, 17 Hillcrest Dr, Dickson City, with Rev Elwin Murphy, Dickson City Primitive Methodist Church, officiating. Interment Primitive Methodist Cemetery, Dickson City. Kingsbury Lodge will conduct services Sunday at 8 pm in the funeral home. Friends may call tonight from 7-10 pm and thereafter from 2-4 and 7-10pm.
