Lois B. Gambino
Lois B. Gambino, 80, formerly of Easton and Bath, PA, earned her wings on Thursday, February 19, 2015 in Old Orchard Manor Care, comforted by her loving daughters.
Lois was born in Avoca, PA, a daughter of the late William and Jeanette (Hastie) Buckingham. Lois was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1952. She completed the LPN Program at Vo-Tech Easton Hospital in 1969. Working at Easton, Allentown Sacred Heart Hospital, Gracedale, and Allentown State Hospital, she returned to Northampton Community College receiving her RN in 1986. She also worked at Warren Hospital, from where she retired. Lois was a member of the Greater Shiloh Church of South Side, Easton.
Lois is predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo T. Gambino of 20 years; and a sister Barbara B. Clause.
She is survived by her daughters: Debra G. Wynn of Easton, Cynthia G. Christman of Nesquehoning;
a sister Janet Silva of Easton;
a brother David E. Buckingham and wife Joyce of Catasauqua;
grandchildren Andrew T. Gambino, R. Wesley Deats III, Charles "Dee" Wynn, Thomas E. Wynn, Chad E. Wynn;
great grandchildren Talon Gambino, Mya J. Jefferson, Malasia E. Wynn, Cayden E. Wynn, Cianna Wynn, and Alexander T. Gambino. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Easton Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lois' memory may be made to the Nursing Scholarship Program at Northampton Community College, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020, or to a charity of one's choice.
