Mrs Audrey M Jones, Dalton RD2, died Sunday in the Mountain View Nursing Facility after and illness. She was the widow fo Melvin Smith, who died in 1973, and John JOnes, who died in 1989.
Born in Dickson City, daughter of the late Arthur and Valetta Thomas Lark, she was a resident of the MIll City area for the past 45 years. Prior to retiring in 1983, she was a registered nurse at Allied Services for 18 years. She was a graduate of Dickson City High School and the former Scranton State Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the Dunmore Open Bible Church.
Surviving are 3 daughters:
Bonnie L Keller, Clark’s Summit,
Luann Evans, Nicholson
and Linda L Brooks, Clark’s Summit;
a sister, Emily Mellow, Olyphant;
a brother, Jack, Dickson City;
10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dale Kinney; a sister, Betty Francis; and a grandson.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 11amform the Lawrence E Young Funeral Home, 418 S State St, Clark’s Summit, by the Rev Richard Snyder, pastor, Dunmore OPen Bible Church. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Mill City.
Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dunmore Open Bible Church, 2200 Ash St, Dunmore.
