Mellow Infant Dies in State Hospital
Mona Lee Mellow, 1 month old daughter of Mr & mrs Richard Mellow, 538 Main St, Dickson City, died this morning at Scranton State Hopsital, where she was admitted 2 weeks ago.
Surviving in addition to her parents are:
A brother, John
and a sister Dawn, at home
her maternal grandparents, Mr & Mrs Arthut Lark, Dickson City,
and her paternal grandmother, Mrs John Mellow, Archbald.
The mother is the former Emily Lark of Dickson City.
The funeral will be this afternoon at 5 from the Wiorkowski Funeral Home, 1115 Main St, Dickson City. Interment, Primitive Methodist Cemetery, Dickson City.

Emily D Mellow of Benbridge Lane, Dickson City, died Thursday morning in Community Medical Center. She was the wife of Richard Mellow, Sr.
Born in Dickson City, daughter of the late Arthur and Valedda Lark, she was a graduate fo Dickson CIty High School. Ahe was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church, Dickson City, and its ladies auxiliary, and the Eagle Hose Company ladies auxiliary.
Also surviving are 2 sons: John, Blakely, and Richard Jr, Dickson City;
a daughter Dawn Niemiec, Columbia MD; 7 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Monalee; a brother, John; and 2 sisters Audrey Smith Jones, and Betty Kromko.
Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Interment Primitive Methodist Cemetery, Dickson City.
Memorial contributions may be made to Primitive Methodist Church, Lincoln & Jackson Streets, Dickson City, or to the donor’s favorite charity. Arrangements by the James M Margotta Funeral Home, 1019 Main St, Peckville.
