From RJ Parsons ”My Dad told me that James Parsons was an orphan. Some of Robert John's notes indicate that he was born near Staffordshire, Feb, 1850, and was raised by a man named Haggen. I know he was illiterate because I have his citizenship papers with his mark. Jane Jones' family came from Aberaman, Wales. Her father was Robert Jones, mother, Liza Richards.”
