“John Wearne of Brook streett, aged 37 years, whose serious illness from miners’ asthma was referred to recently in the department, died MOnday evening at 9 oclock surrounded by a sorrowing wife and family of 5 children, 3 sons ans 2 daughters. Mr Wearne had been an invalid four years, during which time he has at times suffered untold agony. For the past 3 weeks the deceased was unable to close his eyes or lie down. His case was one of the most aggravated imaginable, and his death, while regretted, was to himself a blessing. Deceased was a member of the KNights of the Golden Eagle of Olyphant. The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon”
