This Bobby was reared by Alice Oftedal’s mother after his mother and father died, when he was 5 years old. *** Father listed on 1910FCI, mother not- possibly only mother died?***

“When you and I talked on the phone, I was trying to make the connection between Elaine Lemoncelli Severs and Aunt Alice.  I checked the famiy tree and this is how it goes.
Aunt Alice Barrett 's first husband was Luther McLaughlin.  They had four children.  One of the children was Hattie May (Mae) McLaughlin who married Robert (Bobby) Parry Jr.
"Bobby and Mae" had seven children, one of the seven was Marilyn Parry.
Marilyn Parry married Tony Lemoncelli, had four children...one of which is Elaine Lemoncelli Severs.
This makes Aunt Alice Elaine's Great Grandmother.
I always knew that Elaine and I were related on both sides (Barrett and Parry), but I never knew the full connection.
If you follow the family tree down on the Barrett's side you'll see that Hattie May (Mae) McLaughlin married "Parry" (should read Robert (Bobby) Parry, Jr.), but their children aren't listed.
But if you follow the family tree down on the Parry's side, you'll see that Robert (Bobby) Parry, Jr. married "Mae", (again, should read Hattie May (Mae) McLaughlin), and their children are listed, Marilyn Parry being one of them and then her children---Elaine Lemoncelli Severs being one of four.
If you notice in Albert LaVerne obituary, Mae Parry is listed as a half sister.
So there is where the Parry's and Barrett's are connected..”
